I thought justice was supposed to be blind and not arbitrary. I thought that everyone has equal justice under the law. I thought that the rule of law means that everyone must obey the law and that no one is above it. However, in light of recent events that’s clearly not the case.
For the first time in American history a former president, Donald J Trump, has been indicted. On March 28, 2023, the former president was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury for his alleged role involving a scandal stemming from hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels.
Now such NDAs are commonplace. Many politicians and many of the wealthy have used them to protect themselves, their families, and reputation, whether the story was true or not. Trump is accused of using campaign funds in an effort to silence Daniels from publishing salacious details about their alleged affair. One that even Ms. Daniels later said did not ever happen. Furthermore, most all constitutional lawyers agree, including some that are Democrats, that the case has no validity and should be dismissed. But Soros funded New York D.A elect Alvin Bragg, who made the charges, is on record stating his intention was to seek the indictment of Trump. Additionally, the judge in this case is an avowed Trump hater whose daughter worked for Kamala Harris and even now receives money from the Biden-Harris campaign. Couple that with the fact that 95% of the citizens of Manhattan voted against Trump in the last two elections. How’s he going to get a fair trial? Let’s not mention the fact that data from Bragg’s own web site confirms that 52% of felonies that were screened by prosecutors were downgraded to misdemeanors in 2022, and 54% in 2023. Contrast that to Trump’s charge that was a misdemeanor upgraded to a felony.
The attack is nothing new. Trump has been under a barrage of incessant attacks since he announced that he was running for the presidency in 2015. This litany of attacks includes, the FBI spying on the Trump campaign (proven), the Russia collusion hoax (proven), two partisan impeachments, the Kangaroo Court J-6 committee hearings, the raid on Trump’s personal residence in Mar-a-Lago, and the Subpoena of Trump’s tax returns. It’s a case of “show me the man and we’ll find the crime.” Moreover, it’s been said that a prosecutor “can indict a ham sandwich if he wants to”. If we listen to Nancy Pelosi, Trump “will have a chance to prove his innocence.” It’s pretty sad that the former Speaker of the House, a career lawmaker, doesn’t know that in this country you’re “innocent until proven guilty.” Maybe some of those 9 dollars a pint of ice cream that she has in her two stainless steel freezers caused some permanent brain freeze.
Most of those who’ve been in the Trump administration, who were close friends or supporters have been harassed by the FBI, IRS, and/or the DOJ. Mike Lindell was accosted by the FBI while he was at a fast-food restaurant and had his cell phone commandeered. No reason. No charges. Roger Stone was arrested and indicted. Peter Navarro was arrested and charged. The list goes on. Steve Bannon, Tom Barrack, Elliott Broidy, Michael Cohen, Michael Flynn, Rick Gates, Paul Manafort, George Nader, George Papadopoulos, and Allen Weissenberg. Yes, some of them had committed crimes, but others were clearly targeted because they were associated with Trump at one time or another. Some had SWAT teams descend upon their residences, put in handcuffs and leg irons, all the while the CNN cameras were rolling. Even today those that were swept up on J-6 2021 “insurrection” are still locked up in a jail in DC. They were put in solitary confinement. They were denied their basic constitutional rights. Many of which were just IN the Capitol walking around peaceably as they were ushered in and led by the Capitol police. We now have the footage to prove it!
Equal justice under the law? Let’s take a look.
Former presidential candidate John Edwards, June 3, 2011. Edwards was charged with using nearly $1 million in funds from his 2008 presidential campaign to help cover up an extramarital affair. He was acquitted of one charge, and the jury deadlocked on the others.
How about Hillary Clinton? She deleted 33 thousand emails, acid washed her private server, sent classified emails to that private server, smashed and destroyed Blackberries and tablets that may have had incriminating evidence on them. She did this AFTER she was told to hand them over to the FBI. However, the then FBI Director, James Comey concluded that Clinton had just been “extremely careless” and recommended that no charges be filed because Clinton did not act with “criminal intent.” Hmm…was Comey a mind reader?
How about Lois Lenner using her position with the IRS to target Tea Party and conservative nonprofit groups? In 2014 she was called before congress to testify and, on every question, pleaded the Fifth. Nothing happened to her.
How about former A.G. Eric Holder and the “Fast and Furious” scandal? In 2009 the ATF under Holder deliberately allowed 2,000 firearms to be purchased by Mexican cartels in hopes of finding out who the gun traffickers were that were bringing guns into the United States. One of those guns was used in a shootout in AZ that killed Border Patrol agent Brian Terry. Nothing happened to him.
And what about the Hunter Biden laptop? Labeled by many as “the laptop from Hell.” On it, pictures and emails replete with incriminating evidence of the shady dealings of the Biden family, including “10% for the big guy”. The FBI has had the Biden laptop since April 2019. So far…. crickets.
If you’re still not convinced just look at this. “(A.G. Merrick) Garland sent a memo to the federal law enforcement agency directing it to coordinate with the nation’s 14,000 school districts. This action comes after the Biden administration received a plea from the National School Boards Association (NSBA) to protect schools from the “imminent threat” of parents sending “threatening letters and cyberbullying” school officials. The association considers such activities to be akin to “domestic terrorism.” In other words, if a liberal school board feels that a parent’s compliment or protest about their woke policies are a “threat”. Then they can have you arrested and tagged as a “domestic terrorist.”
Let me cite one last example. Jeffery Epstein. Remember him? Pedophile Island? “On August 10, 2019, guards found the American financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein unresponsive in his Metropolitan Correctional Center, New York, jail cell, where he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. After prison guards performed CPR, he was transported in cardiac arrest to the New York Downtown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:39 am. The New York City medical examiner ruled that Epstein’s death was a suicide by hanging. The evening of his death, Epstein met with his lawyers, who described him as “upbeat” before being escorted back to the SHU at 7:49 p.m. by guard Tova Noel. CCTV footage shows that the two guards failed to perform the required institutional count at 10:00 p.m. and recorded Noel briefly walking by Epstein’s cell at 10:30 p.m., the last time the guards entered the tier where his cell was located. Through the night, in violation of the jail’s normal procedure, Epstein was not checked every 30 minutes. The two guards assigned to check his cell overnight, Noel and Michael Thomas, fell asleep at their desk for about three hours and later falsified related records. Two cameras in front of Epstein’s cell also malfunctioned that night. Another camera had footage that was “unusable”.” REALLY? How convenient. Could it have possibly been that he would, I don’t know, talk? Expose all the clients? Perhaps well-known politicians, in both parties? Heads of state? The CEOs of major corporations? Maybe even judges and religious leaders? The well-known uber rich? Some of the Hollywood elite? Where is that little black book? It’s a fact that little girls some as young as 12 and 13 were repeatedly sexually abused on pedophile Island. Where is the DOJ on this? I guess, “nothing to see here folks, move along.” ?
Yep, what we have today is a two-tiered justice system. Even worse, is that the Justice Department, the FBI, and the IRS have been weaponized against the left’s political and illogical opponents. If you’re Christian, white, conservative, believe in Biblical morality, the traditional family, that there are only two genders, that sexual perversity (porn) and CRT shouldn’t be taught in public schools, believe in parental rights, capitalism, objective truth, God, and refuse to celebrate Woke ideology; you my friend are the enemy of the State! As Trump often says, “if they can do it to me, they can do it to you. I’m just standing in the way.”
Clearly, Lady Justice is peeking from under her blind fold. Her gown soiled. Blood on her hands.
With liberty and justice for all? I don’t think so!
