During the Trump administration things in America greatly improved, especially for those who held to traditional Christianity and considered themselves patriots.
Unemployment went down significantly. Many jobs were brought back from overseas. We were energy independent for the first time in history. The unemployment rate was getting better and better. The trade deficit was greatly reduced. There were over 500 conservatively leaning judges appointed. The Veterans Administration was purged of incompetency and abuse. And despite some labeling Trump as racist, the fact is that this president had done more for minorities than any other president in history. The unemployment rate for women and minorities was at it’s lowest rate in history. The border was more secure than it had been in more than 50 years. Funding for the military was restored. Pay increases for all military personnel was granted. Most Americans felt, that in general, that Patriotism was in vouge again. Tax cuts were given to most Americans. The economy was humming right along. Many stock market records been shattered. 401ks were restored to their previous or better states. Property values were increasing exponentially.
Overseas, America was respected again on the world stage. The embassy of Israel was finally brought to Jerusalem. Peace treaties were signed in the middle east. Isis was erradicated
The above is not an exhausted list of all the accomplishments during the Trump administration. I’m sure I’m leaving many out. But the point is, there were significant strides and improvements made. Life in America was much better than before.
Then what no one saw coming happen. At the beginning of January 2020 “the China virus, labeled as the Coronavirus or Covid-19, rocked the entire globe. The implications were catastrophic. Time does not permit me from going into detail of the changes that were implemented, but I will highlight one in perticular.
The effect it had on the 2020 presidential election. It was one that could be summed up in the words of Obama’s former Atterny General, Eric Holder, “you never want a good crises to go to waste”. What he meant was in the time of crises one could get away with doing things you otherwise could not in a normal situation. And this is what sunk Trump. It was the perfect opportunity for the Democrats to rid the country of what they saw was the scerge to America. Donald J. Trump. The undisputed enemy of the progressive left. The man commissioned to “drain the swamp”. The man who caused havic to the sorded “normalcy” in Washington. Trump, the man who came off as rude, crude, undiplomatic. Who offended many with all his incessant mean tweets. Yes, now was the opportunity to strike! And strike they did!
Under the guise of “safety” they were many concessions made in more than a few states concerning voting laws and new loseened voting procedures. In some states voting ballots were sent to everyone on their previous voting roles. Ballet boxes were ubiquitous. Extensions in days, even weeks were permissable in several states. Voter ID was optional in several states as well. Trump who had seemed to be vastly ahead during the night somehow was in a deficit in the wee hours of the morning. I would only add that in some states that voting laws that were changed, didn’t go through their own state’s laws to get enacted. Some had recorded that more people had voted than were in a particular county. The election was rife for fraud to occur. Many lament that the election was stollen. It very well may have been, but although law suits were brought, but the courts, for whatever reason, decided not to take up such cases. Not even the Supreme Court.
Although, there was vehement controversy around the fairness of the 2020 election, Donald Trump was defeated. This is what sunk Trump.
