Human trafficking, other than when there is a major bust, is rarely ever talked about. “Human trafficking is a $150 billion a year global industry.”
This evil pandemic victimmises millions of young children, particularly young girls, per year. These children are bought and sold into a life of sexual slavery. Tragically many end up taking their own lives to free themselves.
Their predators range from gang members to those in high political office. Quite often they are esteemed members of the community. Those with wives and kids of their own.
What is causing it? The simple answer is pornography. “Porn is plastered all over social media sites like Instagram, and it’s too easy to see on Twitter considering the Twitterverse is home to an estimated 10+ million porn accounts.”
Until we deal with the lustful heats of men we will never be able to able to stem the tide. And only God can change the heart. However, God would have US expose this pernicious evil, and support the organizations who are on the front lines of this pandemic.
