I about wrecked my car on the way home from the pizza shop last night. I’m listening to the news on our local Christian radio station. The news always upsets me. So much happening that anti-God, anti-American,and just anti-common sense. But this news about Texas Christian university up near Dallas really set me off, ” The university announced it will no longer use “freshmen” to describe incoming undergraduate students.
Instead, the school will call them “first-year” students. The term will apply to any student with fewer than 24 credit hours, regardless of how long they have been enrolled.”
Because, they want to be more inclusive so they’re going to be gender neutral. And inclusive they are. I found out that also have Muslim club on campus too.
I don’t know why I’m surprised. It was more than a decade ago that my wife and I took are youngest to visit a “Christian” university in northern Ohio. They not only had a Muslim club, but had a mosque along with coed dorms.
The Bible is clear, “the Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.”
Don’t compromise. Hold fast to sound biblical doctrine. Don’t get swept up with the ‘woke”, PC, crowd. If it’s wrong, call it out. Resist it “standing strong in the faith.”
Slapping “Christian” on a college, or anything else for that matter, doesn’t mean anything.
