Recently this tennis star is willing to sacrifice it all to remain true to his conviction.

“Novak Djokovic has said he would rather miss out on future tennis trophies than be forced to get a Covid vaccine.”

“The 20-time Grand Slam winner was deported from Australia last month after the government cancelled his visa in a row over his vaccine status.”

Novak was on the cusp to become the “Tom Brady” of tennis. All that stood is his way was Rafael Nadal, Rodger Federer, and his conviction not to get vaccinated. Currently, he is ranked as the #1 tennis player in the world!

He has beaten both Rafa and Rodger on more than one occasion, but he stated that he is willing to give up all his trophies if necessary.

In a world that compromise is as normal as breathing, Novak resolutely holds to his conviction. There’s much to be said for a man that will stand on his conviction when most others will give in if enough pressure is applied.

What is conviction anyway? It’s “a firmly held belief or opinion.”

Now I don’t know if Novak has a belief in God or a Christian for that matter, but I will tell you if you are a man or woman of God, you have to be a person of conviction. You simply will not be able to stand for Christ without having such.

Brethren, we are living in the last days. The world has gotten increasingly more and more evil. “The truth is gone, and anyone who renounces evil is attacked.” Is 59:15a

The question is, will you be a man or woman of conviction? Will you be willing to sacrifice that job, that promotion, that bonus, fame, fortune, being well liked, or accepted by others, to stay true to your conviction?

Tennis anyone? Well it all depends…
