America’s self inflicted wound won’t heal for quite some time. All because they hated the mean tweeting orange man.
We saw their hatred prior to the election. Just wearing a MAGA hat out in public could be an invitation for physical assault. They hated him and his supporters that much. His personality was obnoxious to the left. He was the nemises of the liberal media. With Donald. Trump there was no middle ground. You either loved him or hated him. Despite his many policy successes he couldn’t escape the ire of at least half of the country. And that half decided they’d rather have ANYONE in the White House rather than Trump. These intransigent voters got their wish, much like the Jews did in choosing Barabbas over Christ The Lord.
As with any decision made in the passion of anger, there are most always regrets. No one in a fit of rage thinks and acts with clarity. And the consequences soon manifest themselves after the fact.
Who did they get? They got a feckless old career politician named Joe Biden. He was their defacto choice.
Now in just eight months into his presidency the ostensible fallout of their decision has proven to be a colossal mistake.
1) crime in our major cities has increased by 18%. Mostly in Democratic run cities.
2) Inflation has risen 5.9% and growing.
3) Due to Biden’s open border policy over 1 million illegal immigrants crossed our southern border.
4) The disastrous, hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan cost 13 of our service members their lives, gave over 85 billion of our weapons to the Taliban, left Americans stranded, made America more vulnerable to terrorist attacks, and emboldened our enemies.
5) We found out he wasn’t the moderate Democrat he told us he was. Now he’s trying to push socialism down our collective throats.
The unfortunate thing is that we all are suffering because of their rage against the orange man. I’ll bet, if they were honest, they’d tell you that they’d welcome a mean tweet about now. That’s ok, we conservatives won’t stay mad, but we will get even!!
