As previously stated; the enemy (Satan), primary objective is mar God’s highest creation, man. By “man” I mean mankind.
When God created man he was perfect, clean, pure, and innocent. Then man sinned. Adammic nature was to sin and propagate evil. The Bible tells us, “we all, like sheep, have sinned and gone astray.” And that sin has separated us from God. In other words, the fellowship that man had once with God has been severed. “Each one has turned to his own way.” Man has placed himself on the throne of his heart. Meaning we are all self centered. We were created to fellowship with and serve God, but now we serve self.
The enemy now can easily influence mankind to continue on a corrupt downward path of immorality.
We see it in our culture via pervert ion. The Devil and his demonic cohorts take what God created as good and pervert it. It goes from bad to worse. And finally God, because of his rightousnes, then has to judge and punish. That is what happened in the time of Noah. That is what happened in Soddom and Ghamora and that is what will happen today.
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Is 5:12.
Because of this and the like, we are reaping what we’ve sown. Violence is rampant in our street s. Pornography and even child pronography is epidemic. Along with sex trafficking. Drug abuse and overdoses are on the rise. The traditional family is all but extinct. Broken and fatherless homes are reaching new levels. Suicide is on the rise. Many of our young people are depressed and confused. They don’t even know what gender they are. Our freedoms, once, fought for, and held so dear are deteriorating before our eyes. Our leaders are so corrupt. “Truth has fallen in the streets and equity cannot enter.” Is 59:14
The terribly sobering thing is that this isn’t even the result of DeVine judgement, it’s just the result of our own actions. We have yet to be judged by God!
Make no mistake, sin brings bondage. In our individual lives, and bondage as a nation. Soon on our present trijectory, “the land of the free and the home of the brave”, will become the land of the bound and the home of the compliment.
This is all the result of sin and demonic influence. This is the result of a nation and a people who have turned their back on God.
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.Gal 6:7.
