What we’ve just witnessed is similar to that of the crash of the Hindenburg. The irony in similarity cannot be lost. The “Reich Ministry for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda” used the Hindenburg for “propaganda” flights. It made appearances at the Berlin Games and at the Nuremberg Party rally. And the Nazi party invested millions. However, a disaster occurred when the gigantic hydrogen filled airship crashed and burned when it was attempting to land at Naval Air Station Lakehurst in New Jersey, May 6, 1937. Similarly, the Kamala Harris campaign crashed and burned on November 5, 2024, despite all the propaganda, money, and celebrity clearly on its side.
When the last rally was done, when the last campaign commercial was shown, and when dust cleared on Wednesday November 6th, just about every Dem in the country was left scratching their collective heads thinking, “what the Hell just happened?” “It shouldn’t have ended this way. We had everything going for us.” Ha! Ha! Their liberal heads were exploding! All the alphabet channels were in crisis mode. “Morning Joe” turned into “Mourning Joe”. The legacy media erupted into a barrage of finger pointing. “It was Joe Biden’s fault! He should have gotten out earlier”, quipped Nancy Pelosi. Others said that it was her. “She was a bad candidate”. Another said, “We should have primaried.” Add to this, the answer of “I wouldn’t have changed a thing” when Harris was questioned on The View on what she would have done differently than Biden. Additionally, not going on The Joe Rogan Show, the number 1 Podcast in the world, was a grave mistake! But then again, if she faltered on The View, how would she have done unscripted for three hours with Rogan freewheeling without a teleprompter? But it wasn’t like she didn’t have help.
She had the Hollywood elites. You know, the ones that were going to vacate the county the first time Trump made it to the White House. Surprise, they’re still here! And what a cast of luminaries. There was JLO, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Cardi B (whoever that is), and the inimitable Oprah. Add to that the heavyweight Dem torch bearers, such as the Obamas and Bill Clinton. Only the latter two did more to hurt than help. Obama tried to shame black men into voting for her. He basically told them that they had unconscious bias against voting for a woman president. And that since she’s a woman of color they were obligated to vote for her. In short, they needed to “stay on the plantation”. Then Bill Clinton didn’t do her any justice either. He basically admitted that the murder of nursing student Laken Riley could have been prevented if her assailant had been “properly vetted” at the border. And it certainly didn’t help either that loquacious billionaire Mark Cuban insulted all the women that supported Trump, as not being “strong” or “intelligent.” Even a last ditch attempt to turn Trump into Hitler and telling everyone that he’d punish all his enemies, take away all their freedoms and destroy the Constitution, didn’t work. And it wasn’t like the Harris campaign didn’t have money.
We know now that the Harris campaign spent a whopping 1 billion 18 million in trying to get her elected. In fact, sources say the campaign is presently in debt 18-20 million. In fact, they paid Oprah 1 million dollars and paid other performers that stumped her as well. As it turns out “Love” isn’t the only thing money can’t buy me. It was an election as well! (For you younger folk, the reference is the Beatles hit single, “Money Can’t Buy Me Love.” If you don’t know who the Beatles are, I can’t help you)
They even had the full support of the legacy media. The press delivered 84% positive coverage for Harris and 89% negative coverage for Trump. However, Americans didn’t seem to believe these purveyors of misinformation anymore. They had already lost their credibility. I guess that things like the Russia collusion hoax and Trump said that “there were good people on both sides.” Inferring that meant Neo-Nuzzis and skin heads were good people as well as many other fabrications and outright lies. They were damaged irreparably. Remember they told you “the border is closed”, “Biden’s as sharp as a tack”, inflation is “transitory”, “more jobs have been created under this administration than ever before.” Gaslight! Gaslight! Gaslight! Is it any wonder when asked, only 33% of Americans express they had “not very much” confidence in the mainstream media. (Gallup October 14, 2024)
However, I think the biggest faux pas was that the Dems misread the room. They thought social priorities trumped (no pun intended) the fiscal priorities of the American people. As it turns out, even uber liberal, pro-choice, women cared more about “trivial things” like the high price of groceries, gas, rent, and the safety of their Children.
Another reason why Kamala and the Dems crashed and burned was their radical views. Things like, defund the police, wide open borders, amnesty for all illegals, paying for the sex change operations of convicted criminals, keeping parents from finding out their children are “transitioning”, late term/on demand abortion, anti-free speech, abolish ICE, take away the guns of law abiding citizens, fostering Marxist ideology, and girls in boys sports and locker rooms, didn’t play well with the American public. Add to that her VP pick of “tampon Tim” who was in charge of the 2020 “mostly peaceful demonstrations.” Simply put, they played to the fringe/woke extreme left of their party. And the truth is the majority of Americans simply aren’t there.
We also found that the Dems were dumbfounded that they no longer had control of minorities. I think the lesson we’ve all learned is that identity politics, much like the legacy media, is dead. And for the Dems that’s a problem. Their power to divide has become as useless as Superman when hit with a big chunk of kryptonite. As it turns out, people aren’t voting in blocks anymore. They’re individuals who can actually research and think for themselves. Imagine that! They’re not voting based on the amount of melanin in their skin. Trump picked up 45% of the Latino vote and 20% of the black vote. And that’s not all. He took a large swath of every demographic, young, old, Jews, Muslims, Christians, Asians, rich, poor, middle class, men, women, gay, straight; you name it. It’s like the Democratic party and the Republican party traded places. Now the Republicans are the party of diversity! The party of the people. The party of common sense.
Trump and the Republicans didn’t “just” win. They won in grand fashion! Trump’s 312 electoral votes to Harris’ 226 electoral votes. Not only did Trump break the blue wall, he shattered it by winning all the swing states! He won the popular vote as well. Beyond that, he made significant gains in many once solidly blue enclaves. They took the presidency, the Senate, and it looks like the House too! Trifecta, baby! Clearly, this was a referendum. Clearly, this was a mandate. It was nothing short of a mighty Red Wave! What the Hell happened to Kamala?
As we’ve seen, at the end of the day, no amount of money, star power, or legacy media lying or gaslighting worked. And much like the Hindenburg, she and her campaign crashed and burned. I’m sure they were fully expecting to land securely at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC. But it was not to be. Remember one thing, “He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.” Daniel 2:21
