We find in the book of Daniel, chapter 10, two power spirit beings battling each other.
Daniel, a servant of God had been fasting and praying and interceding 21 days for God to have mercy on Israel. The people of God that had been in captivity in Persia.
Then on the 21st day he was visited by Michael the Archangel. Michael was one of only two Archangels that we know of from scripture. The other being Gabriel. Both being messenger angles, but Michael is distinguished in that he was also is a chief warrior angel.
In chapter 10, verse 11&12 we’re told of why it took so long for Daniel to receive the message God had for him.
“Then he said to me, “do not fear Daniel, for from the first day you set your heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty one days and behold Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.”
In other words, a messenger angle was dispatched to take a message from God to Daniel, but when he got there a strong demonic being was trying to block him. Then Michael was dispatched to help fight with this demonic spirit and prevailed.
Although we weren’t give much detail we can deduce certain things. One, that their are geographical areas under control of certain demonic entities. The more evil a certain place is the greater control the enemy has.
When culture becomes more and more decadent and the people of a particular land allow themselves to become more and more base and sinful, doing what is evil in the sight of God, they literally become rife for judgment.
Well what’s that have to do with America? What’s that have to do with the church and politics?
We are going the way of Sodom and Gamorah. Think of it, we were founded on the principals of scripture and a belief in a Holy, Righteous God. Now we’re sliding into moral and spiritual darkness. We are becoming what the Bible warns against.
What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. Isiah 5:20.
How can a Righteous God not judge a nation that’s turned her back apon God? Answer, he can’t or he wouldn’t be righteous!
(Coming up, how demons posses people and literally kill them be taking their soul)
