Before I get into the details of things like examples of how demons posses people and what that looks like, I thought it important to talk about how demonic activity affects culture.

Culture is not easy to define, but basically it’s this; it’s what the majority accept as “normal”. It comes from our world view. It has to do with our personal opinions about life, who we are, why we’re here and what is important to us. It’s a framework on the decisions we make and how we choose to live.

For example, it we believe there’s no God, and if there’s no set absolutes, such as there’s no set universal “right and wrong”, we’ll come up with our own definition.

A lot of it has to do with what we believe about what is good and what is evil. What is moral and what is immoral.  Even if we’re not aware or have made conscientious decisions, we live the cultural norms of whatever are present society dictates. Moreover, it’s not just ours beliefs, but how we act and what we do.

For example, what was culturally acceptable in one generation, may not be so in the next.

In part 2 we’ll examine the Revolution of the 1960s and how that dammaticly change our culture.
