In a news headline this morning I read where United Airlines cancelled 126 flights due to the Omicron Covid 19 variant. Hundreds of Christmas travelers were stranded. And I couldn’t help thinking to myself, why?
This last week professional football teams had to cancel games because of the Omicron variant. And I thought, why?
Further, all over the country people are being let go from their jobs because they refused to get vaccinated. Hundreds of medical professionals have been let go because the refused to get vaccinated. The same with hundreds in the military, and first responders. Additionally, high schools and colleges across the country have cancelled in person classes.
Mandatory mask mandates have been issued in several states. In some states you can’t dine in a restaurant, get medical treatment, go to a gym or concert venue without showing proof of being vaccinated. And again I thought, why?
Here are some facts to consider. Masks have not stopped the spread of Covid. Shutting down the country has not stopped Covid from spreading. Vaccines don’t stop you from getting or transmitting Covid. And although the Omicron variant is much more contagious, the symptoms are that of a common cold.
And here is the amazing thing. In 2020 the population in the United States was 329.5 million people. To date, ONE PERSON has died because of the Omicron variant. And that hasn’t been 100% confirmed!
The response to this variant is unwarranted! Our personal freedoms have been taken away.
The real pandemic is a pandemic of fear. And that fear brings bondage. A fearful America is not a free America. Wake the hell up people! Push back! “The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.”
