If you thought it can’t possibly get any worse under the Biden administration, you’d be wrong. Add Cargo Crises to the list.

“According to data released by the Marine Exchange of Southern California, there were 87 container ships in the vicinity of the two ports on that day. Twenty-seven ships were in berths and 60 were waiting (either anchored or floating in drift zones) offshore. The number of ships waiting was down from a record-high of 73 on September 19, 2021. The two ports have had unusually large numbers of waiting ships since June 2020. Before then, cargo ships rarely waited to unload.

Add to that, if you haven’t already shopped for Christmas, you may be having Christmas sometime in January or February.

Why? Well along with pent up demand, there’s a worker shortage. Specifically, dock workers and truck drivers.

What’s Biden doing about it? Well White House press secretary, “circle back” Psaki says we’re working 24/7 to get theses items unloaded and to their destination. But, ya know if savvy business Man/President Trump was in office he’d be on the phone calling Walmart, the labor union, and whoever else to get the job done.

However, what this really draws attention to is the fact that we’re  dependant on foreign countries, particularly China, for our goods and supplies. Just about everything we buy is made overseas. America doesn’t make anything anymore. And to me, that’s more of a crises than cargo ships waiting to unload.
