Biden comes on TV the other day and says that we have “free” education up though the 12th grade. Then he says he’s going to make community college free too!
Does anyone really believe education is free? Let me qualify that. Yes, sadly, there are many that believe it is. But I’m talking to those of us that have more than 2 brain cells to rub together. Is the cost, ” For children attending public school from Kindergarten to 12th Grade, parents can expect to spend a total of roughly $162,899.86 on their child’s education and related activities.” Nothing’s free! You and I pay for it. Hell, you don’t even have to have kids and in most cities and districts you’ll pay a school tax.
In addition, if you take into consideration, that now Biden’s AG has made parents who speak out at a school board meeting, because they’re not to fond of their kids being taught racist theory, you can be labeled a “domestic terrorist”. And to add to that, if you happen take issue with a few pornographic books in the library. Well now you’re a prudish domestic terrorist.
I have a daughter who’s been teaching for awhile, and another one that will be a teacher by the first of the year, and I no longer support public education. Not today. It’s not education. It’s indoctrination. And I’m done with it.

Public education is not free. It’s expensive. And it will cost you more than money. It will cost you the minds of your children. If it doesn’t change, pull them out.
O’ and one more thing (yes I know I’d get an F I’d this was a paper) but I think you’re going to see a growing trend of all kinds of alternative education. Home schooling, community schools, church schools and the like.
