Just this morning I read an article of a woman and her young son riding their bikes though a suburban neighborhood. As they rode passed a house displaying a small American flag in a front yard, the little boy stops, gets off his bike and runs to the flag. Next, he takes the flag, tears it up and throws on the ground all the while his mother watches. Then he gets back on his bike and they ride away.
There’s an anti-American sentiment growing today as never before. It’s even worse than it was during the Vietnam war in the 1960s.
Over the last few years some athletes, from professional all the way down to highschool level, have chosen to take a knee during the playing of the National Anthem. Just recently an African-American Olympic athlete turned her back on the flag when the National Anthem was played. She said, America does not represent “her people”.
Make no mistake, there is a full frontal attack on Patriotism. It’s coming from organizations like Black Lives Matter, Antifa and the like. The idea that we’re a racist county and one founded by “white supremacists”. Books like The 1619 Project, and the indoctrination of Critical Race Theory injected into our public schools are changing the narrative. And it’s working.
A recent survey found that 64% of young adults are not proud to be American.
This movement is out to destroy the America as we know it. They are pushing a lie, plain and simple. And I would submit to you that it’s the reason why so many hate Donald Trump. He is their nemesis. He’s their arch enemy and he must be destroyed or at the very least rendered impotent. I’ve lived though four presidents in my life time and have never seen a president so vilified, lied about, and so viciously attacked. Why? He’s done more for African-Americans, Hispanics, and women in four short years than any other president in history, including Obama. It’s because he’s a threat to their anti-American agenda.He views America as exceptional. As the greatest nation on earth. As that city set on a hill. All the things that most Americans thought for two centuries. He makes you feel proud of your country, proud to be an American,not ashamed like this neo school of thought.
Make no mistake, their is a war on America today. And if we allow the detractors to have their way, we will wake up tomorrow not recognizing what we’ve become.
If you and I stand idly by and let it happen, we’ll be complacent and this evil will win.
Stand up for your country! Remember the sacrifice of all those Patriots who bled and gave their lives for our freedom! “Is there not a cause?” You’re damn right there is! Your attitude should be, “not on my watch!” There’s simply too much at stake for you and I to sit on the sidelines.
